Seven Dead in Ammonia Gas Leakage in Gujarat – Seven persons died of asphyxiation after they got trapped inside a cold storage factory following the leakage of ammonia gas at Ranasan GIDC in Vijapur taluka of North Gujarat on Saturday, police said. Truck Hauling Ammonia Overturns Near Salix, Iowa – An Interstate 29 ramp was closed Tuesday after a truck carrying ammonia overturned. The tank ruptured and some product was spilled. The truck was hauling high-concentration liquid ammonia, UAN liquid fertilizer, said Woodbury County sheriff’s Sgt. Doug Boetger.
