Have Something to Say? Submit an Abstract to RETA by May 7, 2018!
The RETA 2018 Technical Conference Committee is inviting non-commercial extended abstracts for consideration of acceptance and inclusion for the 2018 National Conference in November. By submitting your abstract by May 7, 2018, you may be asked to submit a final paper as well to present at the National Conference in Dallas, TX on November 6-9. Abstracts may be written for the following categories:
- Compliance – These abstract topics should cover how to comply with regulations governing “safe installation, operation, and maintenance of refrigeration systems.”
- Operators – These abstract topics will “give real world applications in the areas of safety, compliance, diagnostics, repair, rebuild, adjustments, preventive maintenance and install equipment for use by those in the trenches using wrenches.”
- Management – These abstracts will cover, but are not limited to: “design, development, improving energy efficiency, implementation of projects, troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems and providing advice on Process Safety Management matters.”
- Engineering – These abstract may cover a wide range of topics, such as “low charge ammonia refrigeration systems, proper hydrostatic relief system design, performing an inventory calculation, overview of IIAR 2, machinery room ventilation, and control strategies to improve energy efficiency.”
