Building an ammonia refrigeration system? Modifying your existing refrigeration system? In order to comply with the requirements of Process Safety Information as it relates to Design Codes and Standards Employed [Title 29 CFR §1910.119(d)(3)(i)(F)], it is important that you document the Design Codes and Standards Employed in the project. One way to fulfill this requirement is to request that the designer and/or installer sign a statement similar to the one below:

- 2013 California Mechanical Code Chapter 11 Refrigeration
- 2013 California Fire Code Section 606 Mechanical Refrigeration
- ANSI/IIAR 2-2008 Addendum B Equipment, Design, and Installation of Closed-Circuit Ammonia Mechanical Refrigerating Systems
- ANSI/ASHRAE 15-2013 Safety Standard for Refrigeration Systems
